Fractionated Oil – MCT

Natural Capric Caprylic Triglycerides is a type of fractionated coconut oil, extracted from the coconut much in the same way cream is separated from milk. This oil is an ideal carrier for essential oils and for blending with butters and waxes for use as an emollient in DIY products.

Although this oil has less therapeutic benefits than pure virgin coconut oil it is more stable and easier to use in DIY recipes, due to its viscosity and the fact that it stays in a liquid state, even at room temperature.

We especially love using this carrier oil for perfume roller blends, because it is lightweight, fragrance and colour free.

*Use within one year of opening and store in a cool dark place, away from direct sunlight.
